Artist Statement:

​I am drawn to and feel a personal connection with abstract art forms. Primarily, landscapes fueled by my former passion of photographing the Southwest during my 20 year tenure of living in California before returning home to Kentucky. Additionally, I enjoy the richness of color and working with experimental materials wherein a viewer can repeatedly see something different each time it is viewed.  My work often uses a variety of materials to reflect light when viewed from different angles which in turn gives it an even more interactive quality.
